Today's climate reminds me of Cornwall; warm sunshine, birdsong, everything golden. The allotment, particularly the soil, is starting to release its scent. A letter I had from the woodman yesterday has inspired my memories of him and the woodland he lives in, a wondrous place, full of stories. In his letter he said 'I'm being slowly fried alive by microwaves' because, he told me, a TETRA mast had recently been erected in the woods. He had heard that mobile phone radiation disturbs the flight path of bees and quoted Einstein saying 'when the bees die, we die' (01/02/07).
