I spent the morning in my studio winding warp, 150 warp ends, to weave small square mats. These can be folded around vegetables making containers for their distribution as gifts (11th July 2006).

I sent a vegetable bundle to Bernie to say sorry I wouldn't be at her party, another is for David as a thank you for our conversation in my shed. I found I enjoyed the making process more when I had a recipient in mind (23rd July 2006).
